Itinerary:
We will be climbing M6 to M8 routes at one of the following crags: Haffner, Bear Spirit, Wedge Smear, or the Playground.

Particpants must be able to offer a safe belay and have demonstrated the ability to climb M6 on top rope.

Preference will be given to those with emergency rescue training (e.g., escaping the belay, raising and lowering an injured climber, tandem rappels).
Required Items to Bring:
Ice tools, crampons, climbing boots, climbing gloves, belay gloves, harness, helmet, autoblocking belay device, 4 locking carainers, 2 6-7mm cordelletes, 1 anchor package, water, food, warm clothing, gas money

Recommended Items to Bring:
Ice screws, v-thread hooker and material, draws, ropes

Carpool Directions:   Take a Sarcee Tr north to 34 Ave. Take a left at 34 Ave and turn left into the parking lot.

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
