The plan is to do the traverse in four days. We
will start at
Bombi Summit, and exit at Porto Rice Rd near Ymir,
staying at
the Grassy Mountain Hut, Steed Hut, and finally
the Copper
Mountain Hut on the way. The total distance is
approximately 45
km with 2500m elevation gain, and 2800m elevation
loss.

The cost of the huts is $35/person.
We will leave Calgary Wednesday February 18th and
return the
night of Feb 22nd. We will spend one night in a
motel near the trailhead.
Meals will be discussed among the group at later
date.
We will use our vehicles to do the shuttle at the
start and end of the trip.
Required Items to Bring:
Skis, boots, poles, beacon, probe, shovel,
sleeping bag,
sleeping mat, warm clothes.
As a group we will need to bring fuel for the
stoves and a back up stove.

Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.

Members participating in this activity do not require a separate Waiver.
Your membership Waiver in place at the time of the activity will apply to your participation in this activity. If your membership renews prior to the activity taking place, you will be required to agree to a new Waiver upon renewal, this new Waiver
