Itinerary:
Backcountry snow conditions appear to be rather sketchy at the moment, thus proposing a day inbounds to get the legs warmed up. Nakiska will open the upper part of the mountain; format would be “normal” downhill skiing for the day (opening 10am – 4pm on Sunday) with some exercises and drills. The beginner slopes (green & easy blue) won’t be open, thus you must be at least a confident intermediate skier; the top part of the slopes tend to be very icy early season thus need to be comfortable with that as well.
Required Items to Bring:
Ski gear, warm clothing

Recommended Items to Bring:
Strongly recommend a helmet especially due to hard icy slopes

How to Get There:
Carpool Departure Time:   09:00 AM
Carpool Location:   Assumption School
Carpool Directions:   Assumption School parking lot (near Sunnyside garden centre) leaving 9am

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons.
