Itinerary:
As a first trip coordinated here with the ACC Calgary, I would like to invite you to take part in a Ski, Fondue and Jass challenge, open to beginners (Jass is a game frequently played in alpine chalets). The trip will take place by any weather conditions. We will reach the hut by the summer road, 11km long, with 400m elevation gain. At this occasion, we will organize a transceiver and switchbacks practice, either Friday afternoon or Saturday. Later, we also will try to find some good turns above the hut. Friday dinner will be catered, and prepared together. Please leave some space in your backpack to help to carry your share of the dinner. Other meals will be everyone's own responsibility. BYOB. Your payment will secure your spot on this trip. Hut plus fondue dinner: $45.
Required Items to Bring:
Skis, ski boots, skins, poles, tranceiver, probe, shovel.

Recommended Items to Bring:
BYOB, your good mood, card deck and chansonnier (=song book :) )

How to Get There:
Carpool Departure Time:   07:30 AM
Carpool Location:   PetroCanada Hwy 1 X 22nd at 7:30am
Carpool Directions:   At 7:30am, at the petrol station by the crossing between Highway and Road 22 (from Bragg Creek and Cochrane)

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

Cancellation Policy
If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.

Trip Feedback
If you have any feedback, positive or negative, concerning this trip or any other, we want to hear from you! You can send any feedback you may have to the Section Chair.
