Are you leading, or thinking of leading, waterfall ice trips for the

The ACC Calgary Section is hosting an “Ice Climbing Leadership
Weekend” course on December 13 and 14, 2014. Waterfall Ice
Leadership is for the intermediate level climber who is aspiring to
become a leader and wishes to eventually lead ACC Section Ice
Climbing Trips. Course content will include a skills review, belay

spend much of our time on easy to moderate terrain and focus on
skills that will assist you to lead groups safely, efficiently and
quickly. This course does not address mixed climbing or the use of
rock protection.
