Itinerary:
Leave Our Lady of the Assumption School at 5pm, drive through to Rogers Pass and hit the Wheeler Hut just in time for a victory beer before bed. Wake up in the morning and ski wherever looks safe and fat. This trip is open to all experience levels but you should be fit enough to do a 1500m day without breaking yourself too badly. This is not a BITS trip, mountain experience is required - just not necessarily a ton of skiing or avi experience. You will be expected to take part in safety decisions, but there will be more experienced trip members who can help with decision making. Don't be fooled though, Rogers Pass is big terrain and the consequences are high. Be aware of what you are getting yourself into. The focus of this trip will be getting a ton of skiing done while also really paying attention to skiing and making decisions as a group.
Required Items to Bring:
Bring everything you need to ski and stay in a hut. Beacon/probe/shovel are essential. If you have any questions, email me.

Cancellation Policy
If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.

Trip Feedback
If you have any feedback, positive or negative, concerning this trip or any other, we want to hear from you! You can send any feedback you may have to the Section Chair.
