Itinerary:
Come and join for a day of moderate trad climbing at the Little Egypt Amphitheatre in the North Ghost. This trip is part of the End of the summer Extravaganza and you need to be a participant of this event to be considered. The plan is to climb on Sunday, but this might change because of various reasons, so be flexible with your climbing plans for that weekend. This trip is for people who have already some rock climbing experience and want to climb a gear route. We will do all the leading, but you need to be able to give us a save belay and follow up to 5.9. The exact route will be selected depending on the participants and weather conditions. If you sign up for this trip, please send us a short climbing resume describing your climbing experience and what you can climb right now to link_tobias(at)web.de. Please don't write the information into the trip sign up form. Also include a list of at least five recent climbs you did this year. No resume, no trip -period.
Required Items to Bring:
Helmet, harness, belay device, climbing shoes, nut tool (let us know if we should bring one for you), something to drink, lunch/snacks, appropriate clothing, a backpack you can climb with

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
