The normal route up Mount Temple is a scramble up
the SW ridge. Moraine Lake to the summit is 1700m,
so you will need to be fit. Expect to summit by
mid
afternoon and back to Lake Louise for dinner.
Carpool will be at
West Springs CO-OP and leave at
6 am sharp to be at Moraine
Lake at 8 am.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:
Go to Lake Louise toward the Chateau, then turn left
at the Moraine Lake turnoff and go about 11 km to
the Moraine Lake parking lot
Carpool Departure Time:
06:00 AM
Carpool Location:

Notes:
I have not done this scramble before. 4 people
minimum are required to hike in this part of the
park, due to bears.
I understand that rockfall is a hazard on this
route so be prepared to stick together as a close
group during risky sections, and a helmet is
mandatory.
