*** King's Chimney ***
REQUIREMENTS
You must be be competent in lead belaying, be able to second 5.7 on top rope, have multi-pitch experience, and know how to clean trad gear.
Background Info
King's Chimney is a 5.7, 6-pitch route of 277 meters and should provide a bit of shade on what looks to be a warm day!
There is a 1-hour approach with several hundred meters of elevation gain to get to the base of this climb and a scree run on the descent, both of which you'll need to be comfortable with.
Other Info
* Don't make any solid plans for later in the day as, with any mountaineering objective, a return time cannot be guaranteed.
* I am not a guide

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
