Itinerary:
Let's celebrate Canada Day, Independence Day, and the start of Stampede, all in one glorious week of climbing in Skaha. This trip aims to have 3 experienced rock leaders and 3 beginner rock climbers. "Experienced" means consistently leading 5.10b on sport and 5.8 on trad, including multi-pitch. "Beginner" means some outdoor lead belay and top-rope climbing experience.

Plan:
Saturday, June 28: Drive Calgary to Skaha
June 29 - July 5: Climb and beach
Sunday, July 6: Drive Skaha to Calgary

Car/tent camping for 8 nights at a cost of $160-$240 pp. We can refill on groceries in town.

Required Items to Bring:
Harness, helmet, rock shoes, belay device, 3 locking biners, personal tether/anchor, climbing pack, food, water, approach shoes, camping gear.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Chalk, sunscreen, sunglasses, bathing suit.

Cancellation Policy
If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
