Itinerary: |
This coming Saturday I am planning to head out to climb Lady Mac and welcome any of our members, incl members new to the section, to join me on this straight forward and fun outing. The conditions look good and we will have very little if any snow to contend with.
There is a fair amount of elevation gain of close to 1,300 meters and if all goes well we will also get to ascend to the true summit along the airy summit ridge. For this last bit you should feel comfortable with some exposure, however, not everyone needs to go that far and we will decide one we are near that point.
We will depart the car pool at the green bins on the south side of Hwy 1 near the west end of town at 8 am sharp and hope to make it back to town by around 4pm.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
