If weather permits we will climb Grey Goose on Yam. This 5.7 route is between King's Chimney and Unnamed. There are a couple variations off of BBQ ledge so we could make it 5.8 if we felt like it, but otherwise this route is 5.7
If weather looks poor we will head to a crag to do some single pitch climbing, as this route would be a full day on Yam and we don't want to get stuck out in a storm.
Approach is about 45 minutes
Participants must be competent and experienced
belaying a leader. While not required to lead,
participants should have some experience in
seconding and cleaning trad routes, and be able to comfortably climb up to 5.7 outdoors. If you are comfortable leading at this grade we will swap leads to make things faster
Please send a description of relevant climbs you have been on in the past.
If you don't have a guidebook, here is a short description:

Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
