Itinerary:
This trip is being held in conjunction with the 2014 Rock Review. You must be attending the Rock Review and planning on eating burgers and camping on Saturday night in order to participate in this trip. McGillivray Slabs is a neat crag at Lac des Arcs. There is a selection of 1-5 pitch sport and gear climbs at the Slabs that we can play on for the day. Climbs will be in the 5.7 - 5.10a range and you should be flexible with climbing gear (as a second) or sport (TR, second). Some outdoor climbing experience will be useful. Please send a short description of your rock climbing experience and previous climbs to the trip leaders when you sign up.
Required Items to Bring:
helmet, harness, shoes, belay device, personal prussiks, personal anchor,day pack (warm clothes, water, lunch)

camera, sunglasses, sunscreen, guidebook

Cancellation Policy
If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
