A 10 minute helicopter flight from Donald (near Golden) BC). The chalet is situated at tree level at 6850 feet, near the towering peaks of the Freshfield Range.

The Campbell Icefield Chalet is surrounded by
terrain suitable for
all levels of skiers. Many peaks are
accessible for those who
wish to explore and see the area from up high.
Open bowl and
tree skiing abound in the chalet's immediate
vicinity, for those
days when we need to take it easy or visibility
is poor.
The chalet, completed in 2004, has all of the
conveniences the
discerning skier has come to expect such as
running cold water,
flush toilet, electricity, sauna and shower
room. Please see the

insurance in the event of unforeseen delays and
events.
This is a self catered, self guided camp.
Breakfast and lunches are
on your own, we will be arranging a supper menu
where a few
people will arrange and cook the meal for each
evening.
The cost of the camp (accommodation and
helicopter) is $960.00
pp. A deposit of $400 pp made by December 15
will secure your
booking.
We will stay in Golden the night of March 27,
fly in March 28 from
Donald at 7:00 am. Fly out, Saturday, April 4.

units), shovel
probe, ski pack, water bottle, outdoor and
indoor clothing for
the week, sleeping bag/pillow ( bedding can be
arranged with
the chalet at your cost), food for the week,
and refreshments

Camera, repair kit, personal first aid kit,
sunglasses, sunscreen,
swim suit for the sauna, FRS/GMS radio, more
refreshments (
please keep in mind there is a is a gear weight
limitation per
person on the helicopter)

Cyril Shokoples will be at the camp and can
provide some of the
following services as time, practicality and
weather considerations
permit: guiding; ski technique review; crevasse
rescue review; snow
profile session; tactical avalanche triage
session; transceiver
multiple burial and deep burial practice;
track-setting coaching
session; snow crystal identification; session
on snow tests and how
they are currently interpreted (CT / ECT / RB /
PST); new rescue
digging techniques; soft skills sessions
applicable to winter
leadership and other topics. Please let me
know what you may be
interested in and I will make arrangements with
Cyril to ensure we
are prepared and make the most of this ski
camp. This is being
offered at no additional cost to the trip
participants.
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.

Participation in this activity is subject to the participant having signed the

Members participating in this activity do not require a separate Waiver.
Your membership Waiver in place at the time of the activity will apply to your participation in this activity. If your membership renews prior to the activity taking place, you will be required to agree to a new Waiver upon renewal, this new Waiver
will apply to your participation in this activity. By proceeding with the booking, you agree with the forgoing waiver terms. You can review your completed waiver by logging onto your profile at alpineclubofcanada.ca.
Non-members participating in this activity will be required to review and agree to the Waiver prior to participating in the activity. The current version of the Waiver can be viewed here alpineclubofcanada.ca/acc-waivers/. The Waiver will be
