Itinerary: |
Meet at Our Lady of the Assumption on Friday at 6:00 pm.
Drive to Rogers Pass and ski into the Wheeler Hut
late Friday night. Ski up to Asulkan cabin on Saturday and do laps in the tree triangle. Sunday explore and then head back to Calgary Sunday night.
Note : Please do not pay for the hut fees ($55) until you have been added to the participant list.
Sometime in November 2014, please take the test for the annual permit for Rogers Pass: Ski Touring in Rogers Pass and The
Winter Permit System

Required Items to Bring: |
Ski crampons, harness, prusiks, four biners (two locking), tranceiver (2-3 antennas only), probe, shovel, skis/board, skins, ski boots, poles, sleeping bag, earplugs, food for 2 days, and warm clothing.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
