Itinerary: |
** Please note- this is NOT a
beginner ski trip. You must be a strong skier (both on the uptrack
and survival ski to get down the ice/crust/sun slopes)**
This is a peak bagging
trip based out of Lake Louise
- We will drive out to Lake
Louise Friday night, and stay in a hostel/hotel
room Friday and Saturday. Plan is to ski Mt
Niblock Saturday and Pope's peak Sunday. We will
be returning to sleep in Lake Louise overnight.
- Plan for long days (ie. 8-
10 hours) with a steady pace and continual climb.
- This is obviously a VERY
weather/conditions dependent trip. We may need to
change locations, or we might find ourselves
climbing if there is no snow to be had!
- Closer to trip time, we
will be touching base to book accommodations, and
re-think trip objectives if needed. We will have a
group discussion about alternatives (and take
people's suggestions into account) if need be.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
