Particpants must be able to offer a safe belay. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to have fun and push the personal envelope :) Required Items to Bring: Ice tools, crampons, climbing boots, climbing gloves, belay gloves, harness, helmet, autoblocking belay device, 4 locking carainers, 2 6-7mm cordelletes, 1 anchor package, water, food, warm clothing, gas money Recommended Items to Bring: Ice screws, v-thread hooker and material, draws, ropes How to Get There: Carpool Departure Time:   07:00 AM Carpool Location:   Our Lady of The Assumption School Carpool Directions:   Take a Sarcee Tr north to 34 Ave. Take a left at 34 Ave and turn left into the parking lot. Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines! Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
