Itinerary:
The game plan is to do some motel accessed skiing in Rogers Pass, but we will divert to Fernie or elsewhere depending on avi/snow conditions. We'll be leaving from Our Lady of the Assumption School at 6pm and then staying in a motel in Golden (or Fernie, or whatever) for the next two nights while bagging turns by day. This trip is friendly to a broad range of experience levels, but you should be comfortable being involved in your safety decisions. We'll be staying in a motel or hostel type environment - I'll book some rooms as things get closer and numbers firm up. You should be prepared to pay up to about $100 for the two nights accommodation and we'll do one big food group for the Saturday night meal (we'll shoot for a room with a kitchenette).
Required Items to Bring:
You know, back country ski gear. Also, individual lunches and breakfast.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Comfortable clothing for rockin' the motel apres scene.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:   Get on highway 1. Go West until the skiing looks awesome.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

Once the motel rooms are booked, consider yourself on the hook for your share of the trip cost.
*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
