Itinerary:
Distance: 14 km aprox.
Elevation gain: 1,300 meters
Time: 8-10 hours roundtrip (plus driving time to/from trailhead)

This will be a moderate to difficult scramble starting with a hike up to Cory/Edith pass and head up the ridge to the first summit of Edith, then descend and climb up to the second summit. Both summits are considered moderate scrambles. If time permits, we'll then go for the third summit which is considered a difficult scramble with quite a bit of exposure. We'll be travelling together at a moderate pace.

Rain/wind gear and warm layer of clothing, no matter what the weather forecast is,
National Park pass

How to Get There:
Event Directions:   We'll take Highway 1 to Bow Valley Parkway (Highway 1A) and follow it for 0.3 km. We'll turn right to get to the Fireside picnic area. This is where we'll park and begin the hike to Cory/Edith Pass.

Cancellation Policy
If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
