In-Town Xcountry Ski
Let's get out for a ski where there's good snow - in town!
Some people will be experienced, some will be beginners, some will be fast, some will be slow. It doesn't matter. What matters is that you come out!
There is lots of opportunity for putting down tracks there. I plan to head across the fields and into the cover of the trees and maybe down some of the summer horse trails.
Don't expect the group to keep up with you; don't expect the group to wait for you. Because of the cold temperatures, I don't want people to have to stand around and I will not be attempting to keep everyone together. People can comfortably go at their own pace. I'm pretty slow as I've got light touring gear.
Bring a warm jacket and thermos of hot chocolate, coffee, tea, or other favorite drink and some recovery treats to share as we'll gather in the shelter afterwards.

If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
