Calling all BITS/Beginner Backcountry Ski
Chicks! Part 2 of 2
Join us for a fun-filled week-end and ski to Egypt
Lake Shelter (ski in and out via Healy Pass) in a
supportive and confidence- building environment.
Ski into Egypt Lake Shelter on Saturday, overnight
at the RUSTIC shelter and ski out on Sunday.
This is the 2nd ski trip of 2 ski trips, with the
1st trip being a day trip to Chester Lake on Sat,
Jan 18, 2013 (see posting). Preference will be
given to those who can participate in both trips.
We will assess travel hazards, check out snow
conditions and get some turns in on some very low
angled terrain.
Fun times will continue at the Creekside
Restaurant at Sunshine (close to trailhead) for a
bite and wrap-up before heading back to Calgary.
Drivers require a National Park Pass.
All participants require a Wilderness Pass. The
shelter and wilderness passes have already been
purchased (~$25/person), please let coordinator
know if you already have an Annual Wilderness
Pass.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
