Itinerary:
We will begin with the evening of the 14th and 15th at the Peyto Hut then proceed Sunday evening to Bow Hut giving us a good chance at several peaks in the area or at the very least some good skiing. Monday night I reserved The Balfour Hut for 2 nights and then we have plenty of options to hopefully make it to the Scott Duncan Hut for one last night before skiing out on the 19th or the 20th. I think this is the best way to experience the Wapta Traverse especially if you are new to glacier travel and multi-day backcountry ski trips. It will give us our best opportunity for success at both completing the traverse as well as skiing as much as possible.
Required Items to Bring:
AT, Tele or Splitboard gear and skins as well as a beacon, shovel and probe. If you need an equipment list or are unsure about what to bring to the huts contact me.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Anything you are willing to carry that will make your 6 Days on a Glacier comfortable and enjoyable!

How to Get There:
Carpool Departure Time:
Carpool Location:   TBD

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
