Last get together before we all head south!! We will meet May 4th and 5th at the Elizabeth Parker Hut at Lake O'Hara. The weather will dictate much of what we do and how we get there. The busses won't be running just yet so we will have to walk, ski or snow shoe in...depending on snow depth. We won't have the hut to ourselves but we will have opportunities to discuss the trip and to practice a few skills.
More importantly we can do something as a group and get to know each other...
Required Items to Bring:
Alpine climbing gear, your own food & beverages. hiking boots, show-shoes or touring/ light-touring skis.
*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
