Itinerary: |
Lets get out this weekend and climb Pilot Mountain and perhaps also climb Mount Brett, if we have anough steam to do the extra 700 vertical meters.
Pilot Mountain is a prominent peak that we will approach from Red Earth Creek. I have not been up there, so we will work together on finding the best route from the fire road through the bush to get to the peak. Once we come down from Pilot to the upper valley, we can traverse over to Brett and get that one done as well. Our legs will feel this one for sure. Expect a long day out with some bush to get to treeline and good scrambling on rock with perhaps some snow thrown in to make it interesting.
