Itinerary:
The ACC Calgary Section is hosting the Glacier National Park Annual Winter Permit Orientation sessions in Calgary. This event is open to back country skiing enthusiasts who utilize the ski terrain in Glacier National Park (Rogers Pass). There will be two sessions offered during the evening 7:00 pm and 8:30. The Annual Winter Permit program was a huge success in its first year, with over 1,000 people obtaining Annual Winter Permits. The Annual Winter Permit program will continue this year. Anyone wishing to obtain an Annual Winter Permit, valid for the 2010/11-winter season, including those who obtained an Annual Winter Permit last winter season, must attend an orientation session this year.
Required Items to Bring:
Please bring a non-perishable food item as a donation for the use of this facility.

Please let me know if are available to help out after each session. I need 3 volunteers to help support the National Parks staff with issuing permits. Thanks

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
