Itinerary: |
Get out of town early Saturday to beat the summer crowds at
Louise! Depending on group preference, either the 5.8 trad route or
the 5.10d sport route will be done (time permitting we can do
both!). Preference will be given to climbers with a rope rescue
course completed, or multiple years of experience on rock.

Required Items to Bring: |
Climbing gear: helmet, harness, belay device, chalk bag, 2
locking carabiners, long sling, prussik, climbing shoes
Clothing: approach shoes, shell jacket, appropriate layers for the
weather that day.
Nutrition: water, food

Since weather is variable, be prepared to switch to a different route
of similar or easier grade, single pitch sport climbing or going on
the Sunday.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
