Itinerary:
Let`s meet at the Shouldice Park for carpooling, drive west (of course!) then south on Hwy 40 and stop at Evan-Thomas days use park. Old Baldy Ridge is a mellow, alpine hump below 2728m Old Baldy Ridge. A fine grandstand from which we will be able to gaze upon Mt Lorette, Mt Allan, Mt Kidd and The Wedge. The ridgetop is broad treeless: perfect for napping, picknicking, dancing or walking barefoot, (from what my book says :) ) do you need to more to come enjoy the sun, the view and the exercice?! Round trip: 16 km Elev.gain: 865 m Hiking time: 5-6 hours

Hiking boots, layered clothing, rain jacket, food, water.

Hiking pole, camera, sunscreen.

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
