Itinerary:
We will be teaming up with Jeff of Alberta Parks. Jeff is very enthusiastic about having ACC volunteers work with the Parks and extremely knowledgeable. We will be working on a section of the Grotto ridge trail about 10 minutes walk from the Club House – reclaiming an eroded slope and rerouting the trail. So come prepared to haul logs and dig! We will provide lunch and beverages. What better way to spend a Saturday with friends.

Work Gloves and work Clothes, Sturdy shoes / boots,

snacks and water, sunscreen

How to Get There:
Event Directions:   The Alpine Club of Canada’s Clubhouse is located 4.5 km east of the of the town of Canmore. From the Trans Canada Highway take the 1A exit (#91) and travel east approximately 1 km to Indian Flats Road; follow the road to the top of the hill.  
Carpool Departure Time:   08:00 AM
Carpool Location:   Stoney Trail/16th Ave recycling bins
Carpool Directions:   Located on the frontage road of 16th Ave just west of the new Stoney Trail intersection on the south side. Access is via the Valley Ridge exit, go under the hwy and take the first left on the frontage road (west) and it's about 1km on the right.

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
