Itinerary:
"Back in the Day..." Have you heard these words coming out of your mouth when you describe how climbing 'used to be?' Perhaps you are part of the new generation of climbers and aren't even sure what a stubby is. Come out and hear legendary climber KEVIN DOYLE take us back to the late 1970's and into the 80's and show us (or remind us) where ice climbing as we know it today came from! Kevin will talk about local climbing and even take us on a trip to Europe to visit the Eiger. Doors open a little after 7pm for some socializing with friends old and new. At 7:30 hear the latest in trips, socials, deals and general happenings in the Alpine Club Community. We then break for a beverage and a chat with friends (cash bar) and return with an exciting presentation from either a well known name in the climbing/skiing community or one of our own members that has an adventure to share. These meetings are open to the general public, so bring your friends if you wish!
Recommended Items to Bring:
Cash for the bar for a beverage if you wish.
