Itinerary:
We are looking for a few hardy souls to accompany us on this classic wilderness traverse. We will begin the trip at Mosquito Creek cross the Drummond and Bonnet glaciers and head out Johnston creek. We are also setting enough time to attempt a few peaks along the way. A complete description of the trip can be found in Chic Scott's book Summits and Icefields Canadian Rockies Alpine Ski Tours, pg 157. Participants must have a good deal of ski touring experience. There are no huts on this trip so participants must be prepared for winter camping. Feel free to email or call either Dana or Rob if you are interested and unsure of your experience.
Required Items to Bring:
AT or Tele skis, skins, boots, poles, transceiver, probe, shovel, harness, ice axe, ice screw, 5m prussik cords-2, sling, pulley, 3 locking biners, 3 non locking, crampons (light weight), sleeping bag, therm-a-rest, sleeping pad, warm clothing, and food for the duration. Group gear (tents, stove, cooking and eating utensils, safety and first aid) will be be discussed during the trip meeting.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Camera, sense of adventure, and not too much else that you would need to carry on your back.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
