Itinerary:

This trip will be of interest to people with a sled or snow machine and those who don't have machines but want to access ski terrain with them, way in the backcountry.  If there's enough snow machines and people interested further details will be available.  I can tow 1 person on skis.

ITINERARY: 4 days skiing 3 nights winter camping up Glacier Creek.  Destinations like MacBeth, Jumbo Pass and Cauldron glacier.  This is truly an astonishing area for endless powder skiing.

TENTATIVE DATES- the dates of this trip are not firm as yet because it will go when weather conditions are optimal for the best experience.  I am trying to gauge number of sleds interested which determines number of people we can tow-in on skis.

Required Items to Bring:

GEAR: Participants need to have winter camping gear, in addition to all the usual ski and avi safety equipment.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
