Pulpit area (likely #1) is the Plan A, but other tree skiing along 93N or the Kicking Horse Pass area that is reasonably close to the road could be Plan B. It's probably too much to hope for untouched snow and no other groups, let's try and enjoy a day out in the sunshine and take what we get. There will be Rockies tree skiing for a substantial part of the day, so be sure that's your cup of tea and within your downhill abilities before signing up. Participants won't necessarily be added in the order of the waiting list. If I haven't been out with you, and/or you haven't been able to get out on many ACC trips (or just completed BITS), please feel free to sign up and provide me with additional background on your experience.
Required Items to Bring:
Standard ski/split day tour items. 3-antenna beacon, metal shovel, probe and helmet are required for all.
*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
Trip Feedback If you have any feedback, positive or negative, concerning this trip or any other, we want to hear from you!
