Meet at Barrier Lake Park Information Office Parking lot at 8:30am.
Car pool to the Kings Creek Parking area.
Arrive at Kings Creek and walk in and setup top ropes. Play for the
day.

Required Items to Bring: |
Helmet, harness, 2 locking carabiners, belay device, 2 ice tools,
crampons, warm clothing. Bring a rope if you have one. Anything
else you wish to try out.

Hwy #1 to Kananaskis Hyw. 40 to Barrier Lake Information Centre
on the right at the North end of Barrier Lake.
Continue south on Hyw. 40 to Junction with Hyw. 742. Park at
Junction. Walk in 20 minutes to climbing area.

This trip is good for beginners and up. It will be a small group and
we will have lots of time to practice basic skills.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
