Itinerary:
This trip will depart from the north ghost parking area (GBU) at 0630 on sunday september 13. Those attending the Ghost Extravaganza are welcome to join. We will stop at the bottom of the big hill at 0600 to meet with anyone who is already in the ghost. We will approach the summit block by ascending the ridge to the west of the valley of the birds (described on summitpost.org). I will be driving out to the Ghost sunday am from Cochrane and can take passengers who aren't already in the Ghost. I will contact partipants to sort out details next week.
Required Items to Bring:
helmet, boots, harness, mountaineering axe, warm clothes, water,food personal anchor gear, headlamp

Recommended Items to Bring:
small selection of gear (nuts, tricams, pins) if you want to lead a rope. i'll bring a 40m rope, but we'll need another if there is 6 of us. So if you have a 40m rope ...

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
