Itinerary: |
Leave Friday as soon after work as possible. Leave car pool 4:45 pm or earlier. Drive to trail head off Settler Rd. Camp. Up at 4:00 am leave by 5:00 Am, hike in lite (no tend, no sleeping bags)~ 6 hour (~11:00 am) to bivi site. Ascend and descend climb ~8:00 hr (~7:00 pm)About 6 hour from car to bivi site. Bivi or hike out to car depending on how we feel. Earlier start required due to poor weather forecast for Sunday.
Climb: Scrambling, steep snow, possible roped climbing. Rappels may be required for decent

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
