Itinerary:
This is a long advanced hike, 21 km return, 1500m of elevation gain. Route description in Kane's scrambling book. Due to the length of the trip (8 to 10 hours plus travel), participants will need to have done lots of hiking or scrambling already this season. The group will need to stay together for the whole trip. We will meet at the carpool area (tba) at 6:15am for departure at 6:30am. Please review the ACC waiver prior to signing up for the trip. Also, please do not sign up after the registration cut off date - thanks!
Required Items to Bring:
Sturdy hiking boots (some travel on scree) Lunch, snacks, water, Sun screen/glasses/hat Rain gear, warm layers, gloves regardless of forecast

Recommended Items to Bring:
Camera, hiking pole Helmets are not required but you can bring one if you want.

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
