Itinerary:
Very short notice - rock climbing at Cowbell Crag (all trad). I'm hoping for a mix of people who can lead and those wanting to top rope, but you must be able to provide a safe belay. Routes range from 5.6 to 5.10d. Please let me know in the comments section if you want to lead and have your own trad gear for leading.
Required Items to Bring:
helmet, harness, rock shoes, biners, rope and draws if leading, food, water

Recommended Items to Bring:
sunscreen, bug spray, rain jacket, warm layers

How to Get There:
Event Directions:   The crag is 9.6 km north of Highwood Junction on the east side of Hwy 40.  
Carpool Departure Time:   08:00 AM
Carpool Location:   My house. Address will be emailed to participants
Carpool Directions:   Lakeview (SW). Call me for directions if you get lost. There is free parking on the street.

Notes:
Please advise in the comments section if you have a rope/draws/anchor you would like to bring.

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
