Itinerary:
Let's come out and practice rope rescue skills applicable to all types of climbing. you must have previous rescue skill. Note that this is not a training session. The plan is to practice resume in the morning, until 12-1pm and then we can climb at wasootch or procuppine. You are welcome to practice/share anything you would like to cover and some basic knowledge of escaping belay, assisted rappels, hauling and rope ascension are always helpful but not required.
Required Items to Bring:
Locking and non locking biners, harnesses, belay device, personal anchor, prussic, anchor and a few draws. Bring a heavy pack for a VICTIM if possible.

Note that this is a peer to peer sharing session only and is NOT a course.

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
