Itinerary:

Ice climbing is terrifying. Also fun. I've booked 6 spots at Rampart and I want to swing some tools.

I'm a WI3 climber on a good day - so this won't be an educational trip - it's a few people going climbing together, you should be confident in your own skills.

The plan is we drive out Friday night, have a victory beer on arrival and then head to bed. Saturday, we climb some ice, then have a potluck dinner and more victory beers. Sunday we climb more ice and then head home, possibly having a victory burger on the way.

Required Items to Bring:
Avi gear - I'm a skier, I don't get why ice climbers leave avi gear at home. Also, bring all of your ice gear.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Every scrap of warm clothing you've got.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

Stuff happens, but don't be a dink and bail at the last minute if you can avoid it.
*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
