From the Sunshine Village parking lot, Healy Pass trailhead, up trail as far as campsite then up side drainage to the meadows. There will be perhaps a bit of bushwacking involved. Short moderate slopes for doing turns. Healy Pass trail is narrow and fast on the return. This is not a trip for learning how to ski. Snow cover is currently a bit thin but adequate.
Required Items to Bring:
Tranciever, shovel, probes, Telemark or AT ski gear, climbing skins, food and drink, appropriate clothing.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:   Sunshine parking lot. Ignore traffic control guys and drive past lift base to parking lot behind, near trailhead.
Carpool Departure Time:
Carpool Location:   Near intersection of Stoney Trail/Trans-Canada Hwy, near recycling bins
Carpool Directions:   Located on the frontage road of 16th Ave just west of the new Stoney Trail intersection on the south side. Access is via the Valley Ridge exit, go under the hwy and take the first left on the frontage road (west) and it's about 1km on the right.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
