Itinerary:
Come and join for a end of the climbing season celebration barbecue on Mt. Yamnuska's famous BBQ ledge. The idea is to split up into different parties and climb some of Mt. Yamnuska's easy west end routes directly up to the BBQ Ledge. There we will celebrate the end of the climbing season with a BBQ in the afternoon. The idea is to meet at 8am on Sunday morning at the Yam parking lot, split the group gear (BBQ etc.) and form climbing parties. After hiking up to the west end of Yam, each party will climb the route of their choice and all will meet again on the BBQ Ledge to celebrate. Right now we have only one small BBQ to bring it up the route, please indicate if you could bring another one. Participants need to be fit enough to climb with a slightly bulkier and heavier pack than normal and must be willing to bring some group gear up on one of the routes.
Required Items to Bring:
Helmet, harness, belay device, climbing shoes, appropriate clothing (it is already chilly out there), food and drinks for the route, an item for the BBQ

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
