Itinerary: |
Dolomite Circuit is a classic ski long ski tour,
19 km with 650 elevation gain. The circuit starts
at Helen Creek on the Ice Field Parkway and ends
at Mosquito Creek. We will depart from the
recycle parking lot on Highway 1 at 6:00. Driving
time is 2 ½ hours, we will need at least 2
vehicles for the car drop at Mosquito creek. The
circuit will take around 8 hours, so participants
need to be prepared for a continuous touring day,
most of the terrain is above alpine. Participants
are required to have AST 1 training.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
