Cragging at Sunshine Rock

Sunshine Rock has a wide selection of mostly sport routes from 5.4 and up so should be great for all levels!
However, you must know how to belay to attend this event. If you don't yet lead climb, that's OK as we'll have people set up top ropes, especially me if you have tasty home-baked treats to offer :-)
You must register at the bottom of this page to attend this event.
The plan is to meet at Canoe Meadows camp at 8:45am and leave by 9am to climb at Sunshine Rock. Please be on time as we cannot wait for those arriving late.

Bring your FUN... and all the usual gear for cragging including a rope and draws if you have them. If you don't know what you need for cragging, this might not be the event for you - no climbing instruction will be given.

Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
