The gem of the rockies!! Yoho valley offers deep snow, great
terrain, peaks to bag and solitude away from the crowds! Not
to mention a very nice hut to return to every night! The only
catch is that the hut is 23km and 675m from the highway.Day
one we shall ski to the Stanley Mitchell hut, 8-10 hours
depending on snow conditions. Days two and three will be
spent hopefully getting up some peaks and getting in some
great skiing (the Presidents, Mt.McArthur, Isolated Peak). Day
four we will make our way back to the highway. There will be
endless, amazing powder skiing but keep in mind that this trip
is more of a ski mountaineering trip as most of the objectives
involve glacier travel steep snow climbing/rock scrambling and
the use of crampons and an ice axe.
Applications will be sent to participants and payment will be
