Day 1:
Drive to Jasper - Maligne Canyon. 5 ice climbs, max WI4, and we can also do the canyon ice walk. Evening: dinner at a pub.
Day 2:
Shades of Ugly WI4, 60m, Morro/Hawk Canyon WI3/4, 75m, Drambuie Demon WI3-4, 90m. Drive back to Calgary in the evening.

1. Where do you prefer to stay over night:
a) hotel (most expensive, we can share rooms and split costs)
b) B&B (ditto, only a bit cheaper)
c) campgrounds (Wilcox or Wapiti)
d) backcountry somewhere (how about at the base of Shades of Ugly because of long approach, 1.5-2hrs?)
2. got ropes?
3. Can you lead, in case we have more than 3 participants?
Required Items to Bring:
ice climbing gear, ropes (I only have 1x 70m), 2x clothing items like gloves, cash for gas and room if applicable, and tents/pads/sleeping bags if majority prefers options 1c or 1d above.
Recommended Items to Bring:
From the info online it doesn't look like any of these is in an avalanche area so no beacons or showels
*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
