Itinerary:

Vista has five drainages to ski offering a myriad of terrain choices including gentle rolling slopes leading straight back to the lodge. It is also the portal to the big alpine zones off the Cherub Glacier to the west including some alpine runs over 3000ft vertical! Strategically located at the center of the Esplanade Range, Vista is equally famous for its AMAZING EARLY SEASON POWDER! In fact there is a Professional film crew flying into an adjacent lodge for the very same week because of the great early season snowpack. If you doubt the early season conditions check out the webcam from the Sentry lodge which already has almost 200cm HS as of November 21st! (htt p://www.goldenalpineholidays.com/webcam.html )

The lodge, recently renovated in 2010, houses many creature comforts such as a sauna & shower, full kitchen, propane and wood heat (not to mention limited cell phone reception for those who must stay connected). Please see the web site (http://www.golde nalpineholidays.com ) for more information.

This is a self catered, self guided camp. Breakfast and lunches are on your own, we will be arranging a supper menu where participants will rotate cooking duties meaning you will only have to organize food for one evening!

The cost of the camp (accommodation and helicopter) is $850.00 pp. A deposit of $400 pp made by December 1 will secure your booking. We will stay in Golden the night of January 4 and fly in Saturday January 5 from Donald at 7:00 am then sadly fly out Saturday, January 12. Contact the trip coordinator for further details. Also, please consider purchasing trip cancellation insurance in the event of unforeseen delays and events.
