Itinerary:
Its' Thanksgiving weekend and the first snow is on the mountains, so why not head up a summit and burn some calories before the big feast. Please join me in heading up the Windtower from Spray Lakes, gaining just over 1,000 meters of elevation en route to the summit. While the peak is maily a straight forward scramble, there are options to move into more interesting terrain if we wish and we will also be playing in a bit of new snow. Can you belevee that I have never been up there? Well that is the case, so now is the time to do it, and I invite you to join me for peak number 51 of the year.
Required Items to Bring:
Helmet, ice axe, sturdy scrambling boots, warm late season layered clothing, toque and gloves personal first aid kit, sun glasses, and enough food and dring for a mid-sized day out

something warm to drink if you like

How to Get There:
Carpool Departure Time:   07:15 AM
Carpool Location:   recycling bins - usual meeting spot
Carpool Directions:   we will meet up at the usual carpool location on the south sude of the Transcanada Hwy. west of COP. take the last exit at the edge of town (Valley ridge) and head underneath the hwy and back east along the service road on ther south side of the highway. If you are unfamiliar with this carpool location, please ask me for directions.

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
