Itinerary:
This is our annual gear check to ensure that all the Calgary Section gear (tents, stoves, chairs, etc.) is in good repair and if not, get it repaired or repair it. This is a great opportunity for participants to get to know their fellow mountaineers in a casual atmosphere and also to practice putting the big tents together and taking them down! There will be "refreshments" served.
Recommended Items to Bring:
Bug spray. Sunscreen.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:   The gear shed, and therefore the gear, is at Orvel's place. We'll be meeting there. Orvel's place on Google Maps Or cut and paste into a browser: http://tinyurl.com/OrvelsPlace . His home is in the middle of the map directly under the word "Road".

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
