Itinerary: |
Join us at Wasootch Slabs for a day of sport climbing. Pick any route you want to lead, and go for it. Or find a top-rope and a belayer, and try that. Go crazy, or go serene, it's up to you. Bring your own rope and gear, because we won't have any club stuff.
|
Required Items to Bring: |
Rock helmet and harness.
|
|
Recommended Items to Bring: |
Bring your own rope, quickdraws, and anchors, if you have them. Especially if you're going to lead some routes.
Don't forget lunch and water, bug-spray and sun-block, and dress for the weather.

Event Directions: |

I'll probably be at "B" slab.

|
Notes: |
This is a "Climbing for Fun" day. We don't have any instructors. You're on your own for safety procedures, so it's important to team-up with a friend who is familiar with sport rock climbing.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
