Itinerary: |
This is the annual ACC stream survey on the Ghost with CASA(
Climbers Access of Alberta). We will meet at the Stoney Trail
carpool location at 7:30 then drive into the Ghost to meet up with
up James Agate of CASA. The work would entail walking from
Crossing 39 to the Malamute campground documenting the river
crossing conditions. It'll take ~5 hours round trip ( walking in the
ghost), with several river crossings. Ideally we can get someone to
complete the report which is pretty straightforward (we will have
last years report as a template). A great opportunity to check out
the Ghost!
|
Recommended Items to Bring: |
snacks and water, sun screen & bug spray, all weather clothes,
shoes for river crossings - sandals with neoprene socks work well!

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
